Install Telegram

• Install Telegram from the official App Store / Google Play / telegram.org.

• Log in and set a username (optional, but helpful for support).

• Keep Telegram updated so sign-in and embedded-wallet flows open reliably.

Start FatCat in Telegram

Open FatCat from an official source.

Use a link on fatcatbot.io or another FatCat-owned property you trust.

Avoid fake bots.

Do not trust bot links dropped in DMs or reply threads.

If you’re unsure, stop and read Avoiding Scams.

Open the bot

In Telegram, open the official FatCat bot chat.

Tap Start

This initializes your session and shows the main menu.

Buttons reduce typos.

You can switch to slash commands later.

How Telegram fits into the security model

Troubleshooting

• Bot buttons don’t respond: close and reopen Telegram, then send /start.

• Sign-in page doesn’t open: update Telegram, then retry from the bot.

• Telegram browser feels stuck: close the in-app browser and retry the action.
